Recreational activities in Saline County are as varied as the four seasons we enjoy.
Saline County is home to two State Parks in addition to a number of community parks. Walk through trails, enjoy golf, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis or swim in one of our area community pools. The Salt Fork YMCA, located in Marshall also offers a number of activities for community members.
Many people visit Saline County to take advantage of the bountiful hunting. Our farms and wildlife reserves are brimming with deer, wild turkey, and waterfowl. The lakes and ponds in the area hold an abundance of largemouth bass, catfish, and crappie.
Arts, Culture & Worship
Saline County is home to a professional regional theater located in Arrow Rock and known for its Broadway-caliber productions. The County also offers a number of opportunities for community members to get involved in visual and performing arts including the Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra.
